The process of frozen embryo transfer is relatively simple.

If you are having regular cycles, we can detect when to transfer your embryos using a urine ovulation prediction kit (eg ClearPlan). Alternatively we can give you a combination of injections, tablets and pessaries that will prepare the lining of your womb.

On the day before, or the day of your planned transfer, the embryologists will thaw out a suitable number of your embryos (the number thawed will depend on several factors).
