Acute Pain Nurse

The Acute Pain Nurse at the Liverpool Women's Hospital is a qualified nurse who specialises in helping both obstetric and gynaecology patients manage acute pain, nausea, and vomiting. The Acute Pain Nurse works both on the wards and in clinics. She sees the patients individually, and works with other members of the health care team to provide continuous support, information, and advice. Patients of the Liverpool Women's are welcome to phone the Acute Pain Nurse once they are at home if they require further information or advice about their acute pain, nausea, or vomiting management.
