The Directorate aims to respond to the changing needs of patients, purchasers and management as rapidly and efficiently as possible whilst maintaining our drive to initiate and develop new services within the Specialities of Theatre and Anaesthetic practice. We provide state of the art theatres, anaesthetic monitoring and resuscitation equipment, designed to maintain a safe but rapid throughput of services. All patients will be provided with information relating to pre and post operative care and the range of options available to allow labour and childbirth to be safe, pain free and as enjoyable an experience as possible.
